Philadelphia Officiating Camp to take place July 31st
The Philadelphia Officiating Camp will take place on July 31, at the Face-Off Circle Twin Rinks in Warminster, PA. Registration is underway and enrollment is limited. It is recommended that you register early to insure your spot. Registrations received after July 15, will be accepted, as space is available.

The camp will provide the official with instruction that is currently being used at the various National, International and Professional Training Camps across North America.

Butova awarded Michael Condon Memorial Award
An AHL linesman since 1978, David Butova has been named the recipient of the Michael Condon Memorial Award for outstanding contributions by an on-ice official. Butova’s dedication and professionalism are well respected by his colleagues on the ice as he helps contribute to the development and advancement of many of today’s top AHL and NHL officials. Longtime linesman Pare honored with Foxcroft Award
Recently retired NHL linesman Mark Pare was honored Monday with the Ron Foxcroft Award from Sports Officials Canada, a national organization dedicated to promoting excellence in sports officiating.

Richard Trottier named Director of Officiating

BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, June 17, 2010 – The Commissioner of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gilles Courteau, announced today the hiring of Richard Trottier as Director of Officiating.

"I am thrilled that Richard Trottier has accepted to join our organization. He will be an important asset to the QMJHL due to his extensive knowledge and experience," commented the Commissioner.
